METHOXYPROPANOL

It is a colourless liquid with a slightly sweetish odour, dissolves well in water and is highly flammable. It is used as a solvent for printing inks, as a thinner and as a processing and inking agent; an intermediate in de-icing and anti-icing agents. It is also used as a cleaning agent in the electronics industry and is also used as an ingredient in agrochemicals and cosmetics.
